New flooring!...and ceiling!...and seating!

The beautiful laminate wood flooring.  It matches the side panels very well. :)

Krista did a wonderful job recovering the seating.

Our progress on the new ceiling.  You can spy a piece of the new insulation on the left.  We plan to cover this with some 1/8 or 1/4 inch ply which we will stain, but until then it will at least be functional!

First Reconstruction Project

The rebuild starts! Notice the rotten condition of the water damaged wood.





This seam is also suspected to be leaking so we will completely clear and reseal it.





Clearing that glue was like trying to get gum out of your own hair.







We had to straighten the vent surround back out after we mangled it getting it out. Thanks to American Chopper for all your metal working demonstrations.

What we're doing.

Hello! We are starting a new adventure this weekend! We purchased a 1969 Timberline Midlander Deluxe travel trailer. It needs a bit of TLC, but if all goes to plan, we will have her camp ready by early spring! So check in every so often as we will continually update our site with new pictures and posts to keep everyone up to date! We plan to make this restoration as economical as possible while still pulling off a stylish and functional camper. We will post pictures of how we have done it all, and post a money tab each time we have to purchase something for the trailer.

So, I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there; and we'll tell ya how we became travel trailer extraordinairs!
